SPFPA: You’re Protected Under the NLRA

SPFPA™ works tirelessly to stand up for the rights and interests of the security police professionals across the country and around the world.

In existence for more than 70 years, the International Union, Security, Police and Fire Professionals of America (SPFPA) provides those that keep our communities safe the representation, advocacy and collective bargaining they need to enjoy the life they deserve.

You Have the Right

Section 7 of the National Labor Relations Act (NLRA) clearly states that employees have the right to join, form and assist labor organizations; to engage in collective bargaining through representatives they have chosen, and to participate in other activities for the purpose of bargaining for the conditions and terms of employment.

Additionally, Section 8 of the NLRA makes it unlawful for employers to discriminate against employees for the purpose of “encouraging or discouraging membership in a labor organization.

Your right to organize is protected by law. Learn more at SPFPA™ today.

SPFPA: Reasons for Joining

The International Union, Security, Police and Fire Professionals of America (SPFPA™) is dedicated to providing members of the security police profession the protection, representation and resources they need to be at their best—and to ensure those that keep us safe are able to access the wages, benefits and the security they deserve.

Headquartered in Roseville, Michigan, SPFPA takes pride in being the premier union to security police professionals in the United States and across North America.

Reasons for Joining SPFPA™ Today

For more than 70 years, the SPFPA™ has recognized the need to protect those who protect and serve. This is why every representative works hard to:

·      Advance the welfare and professionalism of members through education, legislation, training and collective bargaining.
·        Provide access to affordable healthcare and 401k plans to every member.
·        Protect worker’s rights by working with a prominent labor law and workers focused law firm.
